Paulina Masternak
About me
Paulina is a member of the Socio-Economic Analysis team at the Reform Institute. Her work focuses on projects related to broad aspects of the energy and climate transition, particularly from an economic and just transition perspective. Her areas of expertise include, among others, the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).
Professional experience
Paulina gained her professional experience in the Macroeconomic Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance, where she was involved in various areas, including the reform of EU fiscal rules, banking sector analysis, and tracking economic convergence.
Education
Currently, Paulina is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. Her doctoral research examines policies supporting the climate transition, specifically through the lens of the efficiency-equity tradeoff. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and participated in a student exchange program at KU Leuven.
