About us – Mission, team and values

Who we are

Reform Institue is an independent socio-economic think tank founded in 2021. Our goal is to improve the quality of public policies in Poland, Europe, and around the world. We support their improvement at every stage of the policy lifecycle – from identifying needs, through developing and implementing solutions, to evaluation.

We carry out research projects that highlight the importance of policies for citizens and businesses. We collaborate with the public, private, and non-governmental sectors, offering consulting services and preparing expert analyses on the impact of regulations on the economy and society. Currently, we focus on climate and energy policy and sustainable development.

Our work

Evidence-based
research and analysis

We identify areas where improving the quality of public policy will bring tangible benefits, create new development opportunities, and help avoid costs or mitigate risks.

We compare solutions from other countries and highlight what works in the context of contemporary challenges.

We identify best practices and draw conclusions from the implementation of specific public policy solutions in Poland and other European nations.

Policy design
and evaluation

We support the preparation of strategic documents in Poland and the European Union.

We analyse the impact of specific regulations on the economy and society. We assess their effectiveness as well as the short- and long-term consequences of planned interventions.

We design advanced tools that support the analysis and monitoring of public policies. We structure dispersed data and formulate conclusions to support decision-making on reforms.

Dialogue
and cooperation

We create a space for dialogue between representatives of the public and private sectors, experts, and civil society by organising roundtables, workshops, and conferences.

We cooperate with other organisations working to improve public policies at both national and European levels.

We provide substantive support to the public debate surrounding essential reforms.

Reform Institute’s mission is to support the continuous improvement of the process of formulating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating public policies in Poland, Europe, and around the world. The fundamental goal of our work is to improve the quality of these policies.

As a leading center in Central and Eastern Europe, the Reform Institute provides solutions, tools, and expertise to support the creation of high-quality regulations that address global socio-economic, technological, and environmental challenges.
