Priorities
of the Reform
Institute

Our activities focus on two pillars: developing the capacity to create high-quality public policies and providing practical support for the transition to a climate-neutral economy.

Better governance

We help transform traditional public administration into a modern, evidence-based, and collaborative process. Our activities span the entire cycle – from designing sustainable development plans and fostering inclusive dialogue to the independent evaluation of implemented reforms. In doing so, we support the creation of resilient institutions and equitable public policies.
Policy assessment
We analyze the effectiveness of public actions in various areas – from the economy, through society, to the environment. We show which solutions work and which need improvement to better respond to today's challenges.

Stakeholder dialogue
We engage in dialogue with public administration, business, civil society organisations, and citizens. We foster cooperation that makes public policies more transparent, better tailored to people's needs, and more effective in practice.

Climate neutral economy

We build the substantive and social foundations for the transition towards a climate-neutral economy. We analyse the entire ecosystem of change – from clean technologies in industry and power generation, through efficient building modernisation, to the strategic management of the climate and energy transition. We support solutions that strengthen economic resilience and ensure the fair character of implemented reforms.
Clean electrification
We support actions that accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuels across the entire economy through the electrification of heating, transport, and industrial processes, combined with the rapid expansion of zero-emission generation sources.

Clean Industry
We conduct in-depth work on public policies and sectoral strategies that help reduce emissions in Polish industry, particularly in energy-intensive and high-emission sectors. We also support the development of a modern industry that delivers clean technological solutions.

Climate governance
A well-managed climate transition can become an impetus for economic modernisation, improving the quality of life, and protecting the environment. We support strategic change management to ensure it is predictable, consistent, and provides a solid foundation for tackling contemporary challenges.

Just and fair transition
We ensure that climate and energy policies support communities and regions vulnerable to the impacts of fossil fuel dependency and the costs of transitioning to a new economic model. We focus on investing in long-term solutions and systemic changes, such as the thermal efficiency of buildings and better public transport.

Zero-emission buildings
We are developing solutions that enable efficient, large-scale building modernisation. This will ensure that building occupancy becomes friendly to the wallet, health, and the environment.
