About me
As a member of the governance team, Monika examines the mechanisms, quality, and effectiveness of public policies on climate change. The main objective of her projects is to formulate and implement a strategic approach in national public policies, considering the perspectives of key actors and existing trends. Her responsibilities include collecting data, conducting analyses, writing reports, and consulting with stakeholders.
Professional experience
A researcher experienced in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Prior to joining the Reform Institute, Monika worked at KPMG in Poland in sustainable development consulting. There, she was responsible for supporting private sector clients in developing ESG strategies and reports, with a particular focus on social issues. Previously, as a social researcher, Monika was associated with Polityka Insight, where she analyzed, among other things, the scope of local government climate policies and conducted training on the political and social dimensions of climate change. As an independent researcher, academic, and publicist, she also analyzed socio-political attitudes, labour market issues and social justice. She has been involved in activism for many years and uses her experience in this field as a trainer in activist strategies. She is also interested in political theory, grassroots engagement and cultural change.
Education
She obtained a degree in sociology from the College of Interdepartmental Individual Studies in Humanities at the University of Warsaw.
