Deep decarbonisation and electrification of energy-intensive industries is a medium- and long-term prospect, but we need to plan the necessary investments in the power system today. On 7 October, we discussed with experts the challenges and needs standing in the way of the transformation of Polish industry. 

The meeting was attended by Marta Anczewska, Senior Climate and Energy Policy Analyst at the Reform Institute, who presented the available technological solutions for the decarbonisation of selected energy-intensive industries, based on the conclusions of the report ” Energising industry#3: Electrification on the map of zero-emission solutions for energy-intensive industries”
