On 9 December 2025, representatives of Polish industry presented the \u2018Pact for Polish Industry\u2019 to Andrzej Doma\u0144ski, Minister of Finance and the Economy. In it, they outlined the measures necessary to maintain the economy\u2019s competitiveness in the context of the energy transition. Since then, work has been ongoing at European level on further instruments to support the modernisation of \u2018made in Europe\u2019 industry. Meanwhile, Polish industrial policy is lagging behind. The absence of such a policy hinders long-term investment decisions and the full utilisation of forthcoming EU instruments, a point that was highlighted during a conference organised in late February by the Institute for Reforms, the Lewiatan Confederation and Business & Science Poland.<\/p>\n
The webinar scheduled for 2 July marks the next stage of the Pact\u2019s activities. As part of a series of regular meetings, we will present the results of our quarterly monitoring of the implementation of industrial policy in Poland and discuss progress (or the lack thereof) in fulfilling the Pact\u2019s recommendations.<\/p>\n
