Halina works in the energy policy team. She focuses on issues relating to the development of electricity grids, the energy market and renewable energy sources. She is responsible for monitoring current developments in Poland and the European Union in the fields of energy and climate, and for analysing their impact on the pace and direction of the energy transition in Poland.<\/p>\n
She has experience in shaping and evaluating policies related to the energy transition. Before joining the Reform Institute, she worked on a team modelling the energy system at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro as part of a Horizon Europe project. She has also completed internships at the European Commission\u2019s Directorate-General for Energy and the secretariat of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) in Brussels. She has also worked in the Polish private sector in the field of renewable energy production. She has been involved in research projects carried out by think tanks and in academic work.<\/p>\n
She holds a law degree from Jagiellonian University. She wrote her master\u2019s thesis in collaboration with the Research Group for Climate, Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Bergen in Norway, as part of the Utrecht Network Young Researchers\u2019 Grant.
